How do I care for my piece?
Wipe with a soft cloth or paper towel. Over time, the solder will lose it’s shine, to get it back use a soft cloth and carnauba car wax. Never use commercial cleaners like Windex as they can damage the metal holding your piece together.
How should I hang my piece?
I often hang my designs from the window lock on vertical sliding windows. If you have wood framed windows, a small nail, screw or screw hook can be placed anywhere you desire to hang your piece. If hanging in within the window frame is not an option, try from the wall above or around your window, or from the ceiling in front of your window. I recommend talking to someone at your local hardware store for the best and safest option.
*** I DO NOT recommend window suction cups. *** They are unpredictable and could cause your piece to fall and break.
Variability within Designs
Every design may vary slightly from piece to piece within the same design because they are all handmade by me. The glass that each design is made from can also vary drastically in color, pattern and texture, even within a single sheet because it is also, typically, a handmade product. I will always do my best to color match the example picture of every design, but no piece will ever be exactly the same. I will not refund a purchase because of this variability.
Lead Solder and Came
I use 50/50 or 60/40 lead/tin solder on all of my designs. I also occasionally use lead came to outline my designs. The lead is only harmful if ingested. Washing your hands with warm, soapy water after handling any design is sufficient to avoid contamination. Be cautious not to touch your face or mouth or lick any design, and refrain from eating or drinking before washing your hands.
Will I create Custom Designs?
Yes, please visit my Commissions page to submit your request. Please keep in mind I reserve the right to decline any commission.
Shipping & Packaging
Shipped securely in protective packaging to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. In the unlikely event your item arrives broken, please contact me immediately with photos of the damage. I will work with you to resolve the issue.
International Sales
Currently, I only sell within the United States and Canada.

All of my products are handmade and packaged to ensure safe delivery. Please view all photos of an item and be sure to send an email if you have outstanding questions before purchasing.
Please inspect your order upon receiving it and contact me immediately if it is damaged or you received the wrong item. If your piece arrives damaged, please keep all of the packaging materials. To receive a repair, you must contact me within 48 hours of your delivery date/time with photos at ponderosa.sky.designs@gmail.com
Do I do repairs?
Yes, I can repair designs made by me. I do not currently do repairs of other artist's work. Please go to the About & Contact page to submit a request for repair.
